Apologies for the lag — we were busy hosting the Carlson clan for Turkey Day. Please note that Chris won the 1st Annual BBQ Cookoff.

Michael is getting big and getting smarter by the day! He’s sitting up like a champ, standing while holding on to things and giving his parents sass from time to time. Still no crawling, though. He might be too stubborn and just skip right to walking. We shall see.

Food Time!

Michael is slowly starting to graduate to “real people food.” We have recently started feeding him a small amount of rice cereal and oatmeal. It took him a few feedings to figure out that he actually needs to swallow the food, but he’s a quick study. Here are some pics of our initial attempt.

Vacation Pics!

Here are a few pictures that we took on our vacation. We flew up to Seattle to visit the Dukes family (of 6!) and the Muslers (who have 5 week old twins — whoa), then drove to Vancouver for a couple of days to check out the city and visit one of Chris’ ex co-workers (hi Cara!), then headed to Whistler for 5 days for some relaxation. Michael did GREAT on the plane. His sleeping schedule was a bit wacky, but otherwise he was a champ.
